Milani: Silver Dazzle

I only grabbed one of the Milani One Coat Glitters (unfortunately) because I was afraid of the removal process. But the color that I did get, Silver Dazzle, was totally worth it. I want to hunt down some of the other colors now.

The polish went on pretty smoothly, but the finish was anything but. That is to be expected though.
I love the blue-toned silver color. Wonderfully cool-toned. I couldn't ask for a more perfect silver glitter mixture. It reminds me of some pictures that I've seen on Nubar's Knights Armor, but with the sparkle factor amplified by 100.

These next two pictures are a little bleached out from the ridiculously bright sun. My apologies.
But you can get a good sense of the grittiness of this polish. It is basically as if you had coated your nails in glue, and then dunked them into a pile of glittery sand.

My Easter Mani

I've been playing with dots all week - doing all one color but different shades... all sorts of different colors to match my outfit. Fun stuff. So I decided to keep that theme going with my easter mani. I hadn't done dots in anything other than creme colors before, so this was interesting. I used the Milani 3D Holographic polishes for the dots, and 3 coats of China Glaze White on White for the background. I would have used Sally Hansen's Whirlwind White, but I find that my manis with Whirlwind White seem a tad bit yellow.

Purple: Milani Hi-Res
Blue: Cyberspace
Pink: Digital
Green: Hi-Tech

I love the flakie holo particles in these polishes. Absolutely love. I wish they would come out with more 3D Holographic polishes.

Milani: Cyberspace

Here is another of the Milani 3D collection, Cyberspace. I freaking LOVE this polish!! I love it so much that I will probably post new pictures of it next month. And the month after that. Forever and every because everyone should know about and own this polish.

Okay maybe I am being a little dramatic, but it is a pretty phenomenal polish. Light blue holo. It simultaneously reminds me of ice crystals and bright blue skies and sunlight reflecting off of the pool. All good things.

I don't think these pictures truly do this polish justice. But thankfully I just got a new camera!!! A Nikon s8100. So I will definitely be posting new pictures of this polish the next time I wear it. Although with my ever-growing helmer of untrieds, it might take a while.

Milani: Hi-Tech

Holy crap this is definitely the most holo polish I own. Look at its awesomeness. All I can see when I look at my nails are rainbows. Its a total gay-fest, and I love it.
Also, I love the fact that the base color is light green! You never see light green holos.

I love the fact that the holo in this polish is in flake form. And I also like the fact that it is a little sheer. This was 3 coats, and there is still some of my nail showing through, but it isn't obvious. It's most clear in the picture I took in the shade. But I think the holo distribution is spot on. If there were more holo it would be too chunky and gross. This is just perfect. Great formula. It makes me want to collect all of the other Milani 3D polishes.

Weird angles, I know. But it shows off the holo best. This is really what it looks like all the time in the sun. It is way too distracting. Definitely not safe for driving.

 And in the shade...
Still gorgeous, in my opinion.

And a video of the holoness.
