Milani: Silver Dazzle

I only grabbed one of the Milani One Coat Glitters (unfortunately) because I was afraid of the removal process. But the color that I did get, Silver Dazzle, was totally worth it. I want to hunt down some of the other colors now.

The polish went on pretty smoothly, but the finish was anything but. That is to be expected though.
I love the blue-toned silver color. Wonderfully cool-toned. I couldn't ask for a more perfect silver glitter mixture. It reminds me of some pictures that I've seen on Nubar's Knights Armor, but with the sparkle factor amplified by 100.

These next two pictures are a little bleached out from the ridiculously bright sun. My apologies.
But you can get a good sense of the grittiness of this polish. It is basically as if you had coated your nails in glue, and then dunked them into a pile of glittery sand.

Valentines Day Mani

Here is what I was planning on wearing today, and what I actually wore. I originally tried out the China Glaze Ruby Pumps underneath OPI Black Shatter.

Which I did like.. not as much as I thought I would - but I liked it nonetheless. But I figured I would be able to improve upon it today. So instead of a sparkly red base, I went with a hot pink creme base (Ulta Capri Coral). I liked this better - I think because I've adored the combination of black and pink since I was in 3rd grade. I also like how Black Shatter looked in this instance. Instead of painting my nails regularly, I zig-zagged the brush on the nail, leaving these super cool designs.

Zoya: Veruschka

I have to admit I was extremely hesitant to purchase this polish, because I had problems with Zoya Crystal staying on and because it is a matte I figured it would be much worse. Wow was I wrong. This wore like glue! It might be because I followed the advice of other bloggers and made a 'sandwich' with coats of CND Sticky and Veruschka. Anyway, I love this polish! I love the matte finish, mainly because it is still sparkly. I love that it is a dark green that maintains its green-ness on the nail.

Hard Candy: Mr. Wrong

Here is a polish I picked up at Walmart by Hard Candy called Mr. Wrong. Definitely the most famous of the Hard Candy line, and it's for a reason. This is one cool polish. Sometimes it looks silver, sometimes it looks purple. But all the time it looks awesome. Veryyyyyyyy sparkly. Go buy it! It's only five bucks.

[Edit: My apologies for calling this polish Mr. Wong. Apparently I have penises on the brain]
