Hands down, the best green holo polish ever made. Nubar Reclaim is phenomenalllll. Love love love it. I love the shade of green - the perfect bright springy green. I love the holo-ness of it. I love the formula. I love the wear time.

Sinful: Gorgeous
Sinful's colors are totally hit and miss when it comes to color payoff. But thankfully Gorgeous is a hit. This was two coats. The formula was both good and bad. Good that 65723942 coats weren't required... Bad that the finish ended up being a bit brushstrokey (though I was rushing - so it could totally be operator error). Looking at the pictures, I love it. I remember when I wore it though, I was just kinda iffy about it. But at only a few dollars, you really can't go wrong with picking up a bottle and trying it out for yourself. The color is great - reminiscent of mermaids. Specifically Weeki Wachee mermaids doing The Little Mermaid (because I'm pretty sure that's the only show they'll ever have). Lovely blue with green flashes. Great shimmer. I'm going to give this another shot soon and see if I take more time on the application if I like it better.

Nicole by OPI: Sea How Far You Go
This is the first Nicole by OPI that I've tried.... and I love it! It is such a unique color! Olivey green with tons of gold shimmer mixed in.
And in the shade, it looks even more golden.
Definitely grab this if you're into weird polish colors.

OPI: Not Like The Movies
OPI's Not Like the Movies is from the Katy Perry collection - which was surprisingly awesome. Not Like The Movies is a fantastic silver shimmer polish with strong purple and green flashes. I tried to take a lot of pictures to show off how great it is.

St. Patrick's Day Mani with OPI Jade is the New Black
I was inspired by all of the other great ombre manicures out there and decided to try one for my St. Patrick's Day mani. This was soooo sooo simple to do! All I did was pick one green polish (OPI Jade is the New Black), a white polish (China Glaze White on White) and a black polish (China Glaze Liquid Leather). I painted JITNB on my middle finger by itself, then I added equal parts green and white for my ring finger - then more white to it for my pinky. And I did the same with black for my index and thumb. Super simple. And super adorable. And it takes the guesswork out of trying to find polishes that work together and have the same base colors and stuff.
Then.. because I can't leave well enough alone, I added Nfu-Oh 56. And I'm so glad I did! It makes the mani much more vibrant and much more green. I didn't realize how blue toned JITNB is until I mixed it with white.

Nina Ultra Pro: Leaf Me Alone
Hehe. I love funny names. I love the formula of Nina Ultra Pro's Leaf Me Alone. It quickly became opaque and has a smooth glossy finish (this picture was taken without top coat) and seems a bit jelly-like. The color... eh. I think it is too yellow for my particular skin tone. But I still like it. Very spring-ey. And since its 80 degrees here and super sunny all the time, I guess it's spring time

Franken: Twilight Green
For Christmas I treated myself to a huge freakin haul of mica pigments from tkbtrading.com and I've been contemplating what to do with them. I got too much. And it is sort of overwhelming. I was going to use them as eyeshadow (as if I don't have enough) but they really don't stick to your eyes for very long. I also got a bunch of the mineral bases to mix the pigment into - but I didn't feel like the combination of the two stuck any better than the pigment itself. So I decided that I would see how they franken - and they are awesome when paired with nail polish! I'm so excited to try some more! I did this the other day - it is just a tiny amount (maybe 1/4 teaspoon) mixed into clear nail polish (this happened to be Color Club top coat). I threw a ball in there but I really don't think it was necessary. This polish mixed together well and hasn't separated at all (unlike some of the other disasters that I've created). And on top of that, I really like the color. So yay!
I love the shimmer in this pigment. I kind of want to add glitter, but I don't want to ruin it. I haven't had good experience with glitters in frankens yet. I've tried a couple different kinds - with one large hex glitter set I have the color comes off of the glitter almost instantly, and with another set I have I think the glitter is too heavy because when I put it on the nail the glitter got sucked into the polish and it just ended up pretty bumpy. I'll show you that tomorrow.
And this is how it looks in the shade. It takes on a pretty strong blue tint - which I love.
