Nfu-Oh: 37

I decided to grab Nfu-Oh 37 on a whim because I wanted to see how it compared to Nubar 2010. Well this polish is does still have the awesome duochrome flakies, but it is extra special because it also is jam packed with tiny tiny tiny pieces of miniature flecks that look like glitter! yay "glitter"!! Here I am layering it over Ulta Moody Blues. As you can see in the numerous pictures below the flakie is still present, but the "glitter" gives it a more subdued appearance. Almost like a frosty covering over the flakes. I freakin love it. Especially because the flakies generally lean toward the warm side, turning red and orange for the most part (rarely green), but the "glitter" is definitely on the cool side - comprised of light blue miniature flecks. This polish is awesome.

Color Club: Magic Attraction

This is probably my favorite bling-tastic holo polish. It is phenomenal. I prefer my holo to be bold, as opposed to China Glaze OMG-type holo. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.

I love all the different sized glitters!

And a few shots with OPI Black Shatter on top. Totally awesome. Though I do prefer Magic Attraction to be able to shine brightly and unadulterated.

Orly: Basket Case

I usually only use Orly Basket Case in sponging instances - because it is a great opaque polish that holds up to sponging. But I really am not a fan of its formula when applied regularly. Maybe I need to thin the polish out.. I don't know. And I don't really care because I will never wear this again. But since I did wear it, here are the pics...

OPI: Midnight in Moscow

While OPI's Midnight in Moscow usually looks pretty close to black most of the time, I really love the unexpected warmth and shine that you get when this polish is hit by the sun. One of my favorite fall/wintery polishes.

Zoya: Kelly

I'm a bigger fan of this polish in the bottle. It looked like it would be a fantastic creamy blue-grey... but instead it was more like a dark grey with a splash of teal. Which is still nice, but I wanted the bottle color.

Zoya: Harley

While I don't think the color works that well with my skintone, I really like Zoya Harley. The little red/brown flecks remind me of cinnamon. And I love the shimmer. Again I had wear issues, but I suppose that is just something I'll have to live with in order to enjoy Zoya polishes.

Ulta: Envy

I love this.

Ulta: Dance Teal Dawn

Geez... Ulta has some of the cheapest, prettiest polishes I own. I like the fact that they care enough to make good quality polishes with excellent formulas in a huge variety of colors - most of which I adore. For 2 dollars.
This is Dance Teal Dawn. Its great. I'm not sure how well the shimmer showed up in these photos - but I'm sure it looks more impressive if you make them larger. In real life both this polish and Ulta's Envy are to die for they are so shimmery and gorgeous.
